I feel pretty ambivalent when it comes to Maggie Stiefvater. She’s written some novels that I find to be underwhelmingly uninteresting, like the Wolves of Mercy Falls and Books of Faerie series, but she’s also written some phenomenal novels like The Scorpio Races (one of my all time favorites) and this, the enchanting and unique Raven Cycle series.
Blue Lily, Lily Blue is another lovely installment in the Raven Cycle from Maggie Stiefvater that stays true to the theme and voice of the series. With many series, the books seem to deteriorate as the series continues, but I’ve yet to be disappointed here. The writing, characters, and plot continue to be fantastic.
